Use of corporate card in „DISCOUNT-Valiexchimp” and „DISCOUNT-LUKOIL” projects

By using the corporate card, issued by Moldindconbank, at on the petrol stations network Valiexchimp, you get a 5% discount, and on „LUKOIL-Moldova” network – a 2 % discount.

How does it work?

The card is used to pay for petrol, at POS terminal. The operation is done for the entire cost for petrol, corresponding to the station sale price.

The 5 % (2 %) discount from the service cost is registered on card as separate operation from placement, at the moment of processing of operation in the bank system.

When the discount amount is given back to you?

If you performed the operation till 16:00, the discount amount is given to you till 12:00 of the next working day.

If you performed the operation after 16:00, the discount amount is given to you till 12:00 of the third working day.

How are the limits established?

The organization can establish daily or monthly limits of the total volume of operations for each card.

The monthly limit functions as follows: at the moment it is required to carry an operation, the system adds the amount of required transaction to the amount of all operations performed by this card from the beginning of the month and compares the total amount to the limit. If the total amount overcomes the limit, the operation is not performed, if it does not overcome the limit – the operation is performed, if there is enough money in the account, the card is not blocked and the PIN code is introduced correctly.

If the Organization considers it necessary, it can block the employee card operatively.

When establishing the limits, there shall be taken into account the fact they are applied coming from the entire petrol price, although the discount goes back to the account.

Receiving invoices ?

The invoice is issued at the petrol stations network’s central office.

If the client wants to receive the invoice, the following scheme is applied.

  • Monthly, the bank, besides the standard extract from the corporate card account, offers to the Organization the register of operations performed by using Organization cards, in the required stations network.
  • The Organization annexes to the register the sales slips, received by drivers, after filling up. The Sales slips are necessary to appreciate the quantity of petrol.

Important: After being served, the drivers shall ask the sales slip, keep it and transmit it to organization accounting department. The Organization needs this procedure in order to receive the invoice.

Why is it convenient to purchase petrol by card and not by tickets?

  • You can get a 5 % (2 %) discount.
  • When you give tickets to drivers you can’t control how they are used. The petrol tickets are liquid goods and you have no guarantee that they have not been sold by the driver. Using corporate cards you can know where and when the driver supplied his car, and you can compare the figures with the work progress slip, not only by quantity but as far as time is concerned.
  • The tickets shall be procured and given to drivers beforehand, while placements can be made on card account in accordance with resource use, and money is not frozen in tickets.
  • The card is an irreplaceable method to finance unpredictable expenses on the road.

What cards shall you choose?

The optimal variant would be Maestro Corporate – only 500 lei minimum balance and 5 lei monthly card service.

What else can you buy by card?

  • You can supply your car at petrol stations of other firms too, which accept cards / their number is increasing/.
  •  The card can be used for any type of payment for goods/ services at any commercial points accepting cards, as well as for cash withdrawal.
  • The card is irreplaceable tool for international routs drivers. By this card you can supply your car with petrol, pay for you stay and food. You don’t have to carry lots of money and declare it at customs.
  • All card expenses are indicated in the account extract, and that makes it easy to perform the settlement in advance.
