Chronology

1. 7th April 1959 – on the basis of Tsecobank, Comunbank, Selihozbank and Prombank fusion, and with the authority of the Presidium of Supreme Soviet USSR, Stroibank USSR- a bank with a branch network all over the Soviet Union was founded.
2. 1st July 1959 - The Moldavian branch of Stroibank USSR started to work with 40 employees in number. The head manager of the bank was Bolisacov Alexander.
3. 1st December 1987 - The Moldavian republican Bank of Promstroibank USSR was founded.
4. 25th October 1991 - the bank was transformed into a Joint Stock Commercial Bank for industry and construction "MOLDINDCONBANK" S.A.
5. 14th January 1992 - The bank obtained the General License for currency transactions
6. 12th May 1994 - Moldindconbank became founder and participator of the Interbank Currency Exchange
7. 7th February 1995 - the bank became founder and participator of the RM Stock Exchange
8. 1995 - Moldindconbank - the first bank of Moldova that signed a basis agreement with the financial organization AKA AUSFUHRKREDIT GESELLSCHAFT G.M.B.H. Germany (Frankfurt).
9. 1st March 1996 – Moldindconbank was connected up to the international system S.W.I.F.T.
10. 1996 - the architect V. Modirca got the National Prize for designing the central building of Moldindconbank (38, Armeneasca str.)
11. 2nd July 1996 – Moldindconbank was connected to REUTERS.
12. 2000 – Architect Union of Republic of Moldova awarded a high degree diploma for the best construction of 2000 to the architect D. Kulicov and the engineer А. Modilin for the design and construction of the Moldindconbank branch situated in Causani.
13. 2000 – the bank signed an agreement with American Express Services Europe LTD for distribution of credit cards ”American Expres”. Moldindconbank is the only bank that is entitled to distribute American Express cards.
14. 2000 - Moldindconbank set up the automated banking system RS-Bank.
15. 2000 - Moldindconbank had completed the introduction of the new informational system “Client-Bank”, as a result the bank started to register banking payments on-line.
16. 2000 – ”Western Union”, the system of rapid money transfers was introduced.
17. March 2000 - Moldindconbank began to operate with traveller’s cheques “American Express”.
18. April 2000 - Moldindconbank became one of the founders of the processing company MoldMediaCard.
19. October 2000 - Moldindconbank entered Europay International that gave the possibility to issue international payment cards (Maestro, Master Card).
20. 30th January 2001 - Moldindconbank and the International Financial Corporation IFC- member of World Bank signed 2 agreements on 1) Opening of a credit line; 2) technical aid.
21. 22nd February 2001 - Moldindconbank signed an agreement concerning the acceptance of payments for Moldcell services.
22. 17th April 2001 - Moldindconbank signed an agreement concerning the acceptance of payments for VOXTEL services and sale of “TEMPO” and “Scratch” cards.
23. 14th May 2001 - Invest branch removed to a new building at 14/1 Moscow str ., Riscanovca district.
24. 2nd July 2001 - Moldindconbank opened a new agency at 1, Mircea cel Batrin str., Ciocana district.
25. On the eve of the 10th year anniversary “Moldindconbank” branch Telecomtrans opened a new agency at 46, Cuza Voda str., Botanica district.
26. September 2001 - Moldindconbank within the project of the World Bank “Rural Financing” became to credit farmers at 16% interest rate.
27. 25th October 2001 - Moldindconbank celebrated its 10th year anniversary.
28. 15th November 2001 - Moldindconbank opened a new agency at 10, Mitropolit Banulescu-Bodoni str., Centru district.
29. November 2001 - Moldindconbank signed an agreement with the insurance company “Carat” for sale of insurance policies “Green card” and “Civil responsibility”.
30. 2001 - Moldindconbank installed the 1st Bancomat for Cirrus/Maestro and MasterCard/Eurocard cards at the main entrance of the National Hotel.
31. 19th January 2002 Agency No.3 Telecomtrans branch removed to a new modern building on the 1st floor of the depot on 1,Aleia Garii str., Centru district.
32. 4th Februaty 2002 - Moldindconbank opened a new agency for banking services at 53,Hincesti str.
33. 22nd March 2002 - Moldindconbank opened a new agency for banking services at 105/1,Calea Orheiului.
34. April 2002 - The bank installed another 3 bancomats in the building of “Moldtelecom” Centru district, auto house “Opel” Riscani district, and in the building of Balti branch.
35. April 2002 Moldindconbank began to sell prepaid telephone cards (Treitelcom).
36. 22nd April 2002 - Moldindconbank and Ministry of Finance of Moldova signed an agreement for accepting payments (taxes, duties) from population in favour of the State Budget.
37. May 2002 - the bank extended the range of banking services by introducing Federal Express, TNT, DHL, UPS.
38. 31st May 2002 - Moldindconbank opened the 21st branch at 9A,Comsomolista str., Taraclia.
39. May 2002 - Moldindconbank was chosen to be operator of real estate lending, granted by the World Bank to the municipal real estate agency AMIC.
40. 26th June 2002 - Moldindconbank opened a new agency for banking services at 22, Testemitianu str.
41. August 2002 - Moldindconbank began to make express USD transfers - “RUS-Express” from Moldova to Russia and vice versa.
42. 7th August 2002 - Moldindconbank opened a new agency for banking services at 11, Tiraspolului str., (Road Police).
